The BNZ Low Rate Credit Card

If you apply for the BNZ Low Rate, this no frills card concentrates on keeping costs down in the longer term with a low standard account fee and a low purchase rate.

    What we love..

What can you expect from BNZ as your credit card provider? Outstanding value, according to Canstar. BNZ just so happens to be the inaugural winner of the Canstar Bank of the Year (Credit Cards) award. Bestowed upon the bank in 2019, the award recognises BNZ’s suite of credit cards for their outstanding value.

So, what does ‘outstanding value’ actually mean? Well, if you’re talking low cost cards such as the BNZ Low Rate Credit Card, offering value usually means having a low account fee and low purchase rate. Given its award-winner status, you may not be surprised to read that the BNZ Low Rate does in fact offer both. But that’s not the end of the story.

It could be very appealing indeed. Especially when you take into account the long term money saving potential of the card, with its low ongoing account fee and low purchase rate.

Why should you choose this card?

As a no frills, low cost card, the BNZ Low Rate has no hefty account fees to cover, and there is no incentive to spend on the card, i.e. to earn rewards.

If you simply want a low cost card, this card could be ideal. Its account fees can help keep ongoing costs down, and as long as you clear your balance each month, you can take advantage of up to 55 days interest free on purchases. On the other hand, if you carry a balance, the rate you pay on purchases is nice and low.

    Overall Rating

A low cost card that keeps it simple, the BNZ Low Rate offers a low account fee and low purchase rate.
